We have these almost every weekend, and my family loves it.

My family and I enjoy plant-based meals at least a few times a week. I started with this a few years ago.

 

I feel like making a couple of meals a week without any animal products is an excellent idea, and I can see that my family and my followers appreciate that too.

 

Weekend Breakfast Board Recipe

Anyways, I purchased Pure Farmland™ Savory Original and Maple Plant-Based Breakfast Patties at Publix in the frozen aisle along with other plant-based proteins.

 

These are wholesome, gluten and dairy-free, non-GMO, made with all-natural ingredients, plus they are most certainly a good source of protein. 

 

Fun facts about this product, they are proudly crafted in the USA, and their packaging trays are made from more than 50% recycled material.

 

I am more of a savory type of person, so I love original Pure Farmland Plant-Based Breakfast Patties, and my boys really enjoy the maple. The original has this savory and spicy mix, which I love, but honestly, I think both varieties are delicious.

Regardless, these patties tasted absolutely delicious. I can see myself prepping a tofu scramble and making a vegan breakfast quesadilla in my near future.

The fact is, there are so many different things that you could make using Pure Farmland Plant-Based Breakfast Patties and their meatballs as well.

 

Even if you are not vegetarian, I have a strong feeling that you will like these. Take it from my family and me!

I have here tasty chocolate waffles, blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes, and fresh fruit such as bananas, berries, and citrus are always a great idea to add-on to your breakfast board, spreads, and syrups. You can add beverages such as tea, coffee, smoothies, and juice of your choice.

 

Didn’t I tell you it is a feast for your eyes?!

You can get everything in one trip at Publix, from Pure Farmland Savory Original and Maple Plant-Based Breakfast Patties to fruit and everything else that you and your family might need to make this breakfast board a success.

 

That being said, you can include your kids and other family members to help you build this incredibly appealing and tasty breakfast board.

 

It is so much fun to give each person an assignment, such as one could make these breakfast patties, the other flip pancakes or make waffles, and somebody could set the table or cut fruit. There is always a job for everyone, and to be frank, that is how we work in our house. We create memories to last a lifetime!

 

Creating memories in the kitchen and around the kitchen table is the best, especially when everyone works together.

Do you like Cold Brew Coffee? Are you buying it all the time? Well, I got to tell you that I stopped buying coffee altogether in the coffee shops unless I am meeting a friend.

I do not see a point at all when I can make coffee just the way I like it. Plus, I save a few bucks along the way.

I love a strong, dark roast coffee so sometimes I really cannot get that taste especially if I get it in the most popular cafes.

Yes, some of them do surprise me every now and then, but not often. I am very picky when it comes to coffee.

Since my daughter and I only drink coffee in our household, I make one batch for two of us. Of course, she does not drink it every single day, so I consume her serving as well.

I love making a smaller amount so that way we always have freshly made brew.

Cold Brew Coffee Recipe

Add coffee in the French Press, then add filtered COLD water. Yes, you can add hot water, however, that is when the coffee starts to bloom and release different flavors, even aromas.

So when you pour cold water, you will get the lower acidity and some flavor compounds do not come through via cold brewing, which gives it a smoother taste.

At first add a bit of water, like a splash, then mix to make coffee wet, then add the rest. Stir well again!

Place the top on but do not push all the way down.

Cold Brew Coffee

We need to allow the coffee to brew from 12 to 24 hours in the fridge. This is crucial for your cold brew.

If you like it stronger wait for 24 hours.

When the time comes to consume it, push the filter down and pour it into your glass, preferably over the ice.

You may add sweetener and cream, or perhaps enjoy it just the way it is.

Easy recipe for corl Brew Coffee

Prep Time 5 minutes
Refrigerated from 12 hours
Total Time 12 hours 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons Coarse Grind Coffee preferably dark roast
  • 16 fl oz Filtered Water
  • Cream and sweetener as desired

Instructions

  1. Add coffee in the French press, then add a splash of water to wet the coffee.
  2. Mix the coffee to wet it throughout and pour the rest of the water. Stir again!
  3. Place the top of the French press on, but do not press it down, just lay it on the top.
  4. Transfer the French press to the fridge and allow it to cold brew for 12 to 24 hours. The more is in the fridge brewing the taste will be stronger. If you do not prefer stronger coffee than you may drink it after 12 hours.

Notes

Usually, I make another batch as soon as I am done with the coffee.

You can use a mason jar to make cold brew. Use nut-bag, cheesecloth or fine strainer as a filter.
