Homemade Strawberry Infused Lemonade

Learn how to make the best Homemade Strawberry Infused Lemonade with simple ingredients! A fresh, fruity drink perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe lemons, juiced (yields about ¾ cup lemon juice total)
- 10 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 5 cups cold water
- Ice cubes, for serving
- 3 oz strawberry syrup (about 6 tablespoons)
- Sweetener to taste (sugar, honey, agave, or your preferred sweetener)
Instructions
Prepare the strawberries:
- Wash, hull, and slice the strawberries.
- Set aside a few slices for garnish if desired.
Juice the lemons:
- Roll the lemons on the counter to soften them, then cut and squeeze them to get about ¾ cup of fresh lemon juice.
- Strain if you prefer no pulp.
Mix the base:
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, strawberry syrup, and sweetener. Stir until the sweetener dissolves.
Add strawberries and water:
- Stir in the sliced strawberries and pour in 5 cups of cold water.
- Mix well to combine all the flavors.
Taste and adjust:
- Taste your lemonade — add more sweetener if you like it sweeter, or a little extra water if you want it lighter.
Chill:
- Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend beautifully.
Serve:
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour over the strawberry infused lemonade, and garnish with extra strawberry slices or lemon wheels if desired.
Notes
- 3 lemons usually give about ¾ cup of lemon juice, which is perfect for around 5–6 cups of finished lemonade.
- 5 cups of water plus ice stretches the lemonade for 6 medium glasses (around 8 oz each).
- 10 strawberries add a fresh fruit infusion without overpowering the lemonade.
- 3 oz of strawberry syrup adds a boost of berry sweetness and color, but you can adjust it slightly if you want it stronger or lighter.
- Sweetener is flexible — you may want about 2–3 tablespoons of sugar or honey depending on how sweet you like it.
Tip:
If you want it extra fruity, you could blend the strawberries into a puree instead of leaving them whole, and strain it into the lemonade for a smoother texture.
