Deli Meat Lover Brioche Sliders

Deli Meat Lover Brioche Sliders

Deli Meat Lover Brioche Sliders

I just love this time of the year? Most of the typical households are glued to the tv when their favorite football team is playing and there is something else, which is FOOD, of course?

Some people come to tailgate parties for the game and food, and some just for the excellent food. I love the atmosphere as much as I love a good game and delicious food. What do you love the most about football parties?

I have a houseful of football fans, so I make sure we have plenty of food just before it starts. Most of the time I make sliders along with snacks, cold sandwiches, and pizza. I feel like sliders are absolutely extraordinary and so easy.

Deli Meat Lover Brioche Sliders

I test lots of different sliders, and my family and friends love them all. This time I used Colman’s Mustard and it was fantastic. The taste is definitely unique, nevertheless, I would say, it is ideal if you want your sandwich with some character and Oomph. #HotMessAround

If I would accurately describe Colman’s Mustard, I’d tell you that it reminded me greatly of wasabi. It is pungent, spicy, and it opens your appetite. I used typical spreadable mustard for the inside of the delicious sandwich, but the powder was fantastic with the butter to brush on. It gave me that extra PUNCH. #BringThePunch

Now, let me see how you bring Colmans to your tailgating party.  Share your creations with me and the world by using hashtags #HotMessAround #BringThePunch #ColmansMustard and of course, if you decide to make this tag me @sandraseasycooking #sandraseasycooking on Instagram

Ingredients

  • 12  Brioche Bun Sliders
  • 1 tbsp.  Colman’s Prepared Mustard
  • 1 tbsp. Avocado Mayonnaise
  • 6 slices Hard Salami
  • 6 slices Smoked Ham
  • 6 slices Smoked Turkey
  • 2 Larger Dill Pickles sliced lengthwise into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Colby and Monterey Jack Cheese Blend
  • 1 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tsp. Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp.  Colman’s Mustard Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat over to 375F
  2. Slice sliders in half. The easiest way is if you slice all at ones.
  3. Butter the baking pan on the bottom and around the sides.
  4. Place the bottom of the buns in the baking pan.
  5. Spread Colman’s Mustard evenly then over the mustard spread a layer of avocado mayonnaise.
  6. Add slices of deli sub meat combination, then add cheese evenly on the top.
  7. Take the pickles out of the jar and cut them lengthwise if they are not already sliced. Then using kitchen paper towel pat dry the slices before placing it in the sliders. This is optional. You do not have to use pickles in the sandwich, instead may serve them on the side.
  8. Place the top of the sliders to close the sandwiches.
  9. Melt butter, then add to the melted butter dried parsley, garlic powder, and Colman’s Mustard Powder. Mix well, then brush the mixture on the top of the sliders.
  10. Bake sliders for 15-18 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

You may use any deli meat that you prefer. This combination works very well, but it’s up to you which deli meat you have or like to use. Colman’s Mustard works very well for these kinds of sandwiches.

Chili Cheese Fries

Chili Cheese Fries

My family loves spicy chili, cheese and they sure love fries. Put CHILI CHEESE FRIES together and you get the best comfort food. It looks freaking amazing, and I cannot describe the taste.

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 40 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Crinkle-cut potato you can use any on hand or make your own
  • 1 cup Per serving Chili - Chili recipe below
  • Topping Options:
  • Mexican Cheese Blend Shredded Cheese
  • Jalapenos
  • Tomatoes
  • Green Onions
  • Red Onions
  • Sour Cream/Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Parsley
  • Red Peppers

Instructions

  1. Bake or fry Fries. I usually get the best quality frozen fries and bake them with a drizzle of olive oil until crunchy. It takes about 15-18 minutes until I reach a perfect fries. You can also deep fry them or use homemade french fries. Whatever you like using it would be okay.
  2. Make Chili. I make my own chili from the scratch and I have been making it this way for years. You can make your favorite chili recipe or use mine. CHILI RECIPE HERE
  3. Now when you have both fries and chili done, put it together. I like taking a bowl and making individual servings. My boys do not eat tomatoes so they actually build their own chili fries.
  4. Add fries in the bowl, ladle HOT chili over it, sprinkle cheese. While the cheese is melting due to hotness, prep the rest of the toppings to add on top of the chili fries. Sometimes I would microwave chili fries with cheese just to get that bubbling cheese... you can also use the conventional oven but make sure to use oven-safe dish/bowl.
  5. Add the rest of the desired toppings and serve.

These super easy and delicious Piglets in a Blanket are a staple in my house appetizers or hors d’oeuvre, especially during parties.

Well, I must say that piglets in a blanket are one of my kids’ favorites quick after-school snacks. However, over the years I have brought these to school for holiday parties.

Furthermore, I send them to my husband’s work, I served them during birthday parties, and Superbowl as well.

With that being said, since we have Superbowl gathering tomorrow I thought to finally post them on my blog. Perhaps some of you might make them as well.

I mean, it does not take a rocket scientist, but I am here to give an idea. Personally, I think they are just amazing bites.

Piglets in a Blanket

Anyhow, I think I posted them a long time ago, but pictures were somewhat catastrophic, so I am updating the whole post and a recipe.

To be honest, I really like using better quality wieners, and I love boar’s head products.

It’s not a secret, I have been using Boar’s Head for a couple of years now. I know they are a bit more expensive but you can’t deny the quality of their products. Additionally, the taste is absolutely amazing.

PIGLETS IN A BLANKET

Piglets in a Blanket

These delicious appetizers are a staple in my house during parties for many, many years. One of the kids' favorites quick snacks.

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Additional Time 5 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Croissants Rolls/8 rolls each (or more)
  • 24 fully cooked cocktail wieners I used boars head cocktail beef frankfurters and large frankfurters
  • 1 tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp. Dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder
  • Sesame seeds *Optional

Instructions

  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a larger pot and drop wieners in for about 3-4 minutes. It takes away a lot of packed sodium and it tastes much better. This step is not necessary but I think it tastes so much better.
  2. Heat oven to 375°F and Grease baking pan.
  3. For smaller cocktail wieners or frankfurters, cut each triangle in half, lengthwise. Place 1 wiener on the shortest side of each triangle; roll up to an opposite point. Place, point side down, on greased cookie sheet.
  4. For larger franks, cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles and as you see on my picture roll from one end to the other using all three cuts out pieces on one frank since it is triple the size compared to the cocktail wiener.
  5. This is not necessary as well, but it tastes so amazing: Melt unsalted butter, then ADD dried parsley and garlic powder. Brush it over each roll and you can add some sesame seeds if you have any. I had only black sesame seeds and that is what I have used.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until deep golden brown.
  7. Serve them with mustard, ketchup or any condiment that you desire.

Notes

You may use any brand of wieners and any brand of Croissants, Rolls.
