In case you have not noticed I love making rice bowls, and Shrimp Rice Bowls are one of my go-to. The last post was Salmon Rice Bowl, and one before that was Taco Salad Bowl. It is one of those convenient and fast meals everyone loves in my house.

A delicious and healthy dish known as a seafood rice bowl is often prepared with seafood, rice, veggies, and aromatic seasonings. Although I used shrimp, the type of seafood used in this dish might vary.

Squid, salmon, and mussels are frequently utilized. Rice is served with fresh vegetables, including cucumbers, tomatoes, and avocados, along with seafood, which has been sautéed or grilled.

Shrimp Rice Bowl,

Soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil are often combined in seafood rice bowls. This imparts a rich, savory flavor to the food that pairs well with fresh seafood and veggies.

Gochujang sauce, also known as Korean chili sauce, or hot chili oil may also be used in some variations to up the heat and flavor. With that being said, you can use any sauce you prefer, even if it is as simple as butter.

Seafood rice bowls are delicious and nutritious. In general, they are low in calories and rich in protein, fiber, and vital vitamins and minerals.

Additionally, they can be altered to meet special dietary requirements like gluten-free or vegetarian.

All things considered, shrimp or any other seafood rice bowls are a wonderful and wholesome way to enjoy seafood and veggies in a single, filling meal.

Italian Sub-Inspired Sliders

Italian Sub-Inspired Sliders

Italian Sub-Inspired Sliders

I am a sandwich gal through and through, and Italian Sub Sliders are truly my jam. There’s something irresistible about melty cheese, savory deli meats, and soft, buttery bread baked to golden perfection.

I have quite a few slider recipes on my blog already, and honestly, I love them all equally—but these are the ones my family asks for again and again.

Whether you’re hosting game night, a casual dinner, or just want something quick and satisfying, these Italian Sub Sliders check all the boxes. They’re loaded with flavor, easy to prep, and incredibly fun to eat.

Italian Sub-Inspired Sliders

Tips for Making the Best Italian Sub Sliders

You can absolutely customize these sliders to fit your taste. While I love using spicy salami and Kentucky smoked ham, you can easily swap in smoked turkey or roast beef. If you don’t have brioche buns, Hawaiian rolls or even simple dinner rolls work beautifully.

One tip that takes this recipe to the next level? I add a layer of sun-dried tomato pesto, and oh my goodness—it soaks into the bread and creates the most incredible flavor.

It adds a little tang, a little richness, and a big “wow” factor. Top that with a pizza cheese blend, and brush the tops with melted butter mixed with Italian herbs, parsley, and garlic powder.

Grilled Cheese Bacon and Creamy Avocado Sandwich

Grilled Cheese Bacon and Creamy Avocado Sandwich with sun-dried tomatoes was a burst of flavors.

Can we all agree that grilled cheese sandwiches are the best? I could genuinely live on them and be a happy camper forever. However, this one got an upgrade, which we all love, don’t we?!

My family was split in half, deciding if they liked this or not only because they were not digging the sun-dried tomatoes. I was stunned, but in a way, it is understandable. We cannot please everyone’s taste buds. On the other hand, an intense sweet-tart flavor of sun-dried tomatoes require an acquired taste, so you can leave them out if you are not a fan.

Grilled Cheese Bacon and Creamy Avocado Sandwich

I will assure you that this sandwich is just as good without it. Furthermore, I honestly loved the bits of the sweetness that came from sun-dried tomatoes against the savory taste of bacon and slightly citrusy creamy avocado.

Yield: Makes 2 SANDWICHES

Grilled Cheese Bacon and Creamy Avocado Sandwich

Recipe
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 12 minutes
Total Time 17 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4-6 slices crispy bacon, depending on your taste
  • 2 tbsp per sandwich Minerva Dairy Butter
  • 4 slices of thick toast
  • 1 ripe avocado mashed and mixed with a dash of salt, black pepper, and 1/4 tsp lemon juice.
  • 2-3 sun-dried tomatoes, chopped per sandwich
  • 4 slices of sharp cheddar
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • 4 slices brie cheese, optional

Instructions

  1. Make bacon on the skillet, oven, or use air fryer if available to cook it until crispy or to your preference. Place it on a piece of paper towel and set aside.
  2. Butter each slice of bread with softened Minerva Dairy Butter. I used unsalted, but herb garlic butter or sea-salt could
    be used as well.
  3. Spread on one side of the toast creamy avocado, add a bit of finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes, which is optional, then add cheese and bacon. Top with more cheese and place the second slice of toast on the top.
  4. Heat your buttered skillet or a griddle and place a sandwich on top to toast. It is not necessary, but you may use a cast iron
grill press if you have one. It gives you the most fantastic grill marks.
  5. Cook for a few minutes on each side or until it is golden brown. You may take it off the heat, and cover for a minute so the
cheese could completely melt. Slice and enjoy it!

Notes

  • Use thick toast like Texas toast because it holds all the ingredients much better. This sandwich becomes a party in your
    mouth.
  • You may use other types of cheese, whichever you prefer.
  • If you do not eat pork bacon use turkey bacon.
  • If you are vegetarian, you may make it without
the bacon and perhaps use mushrooms. It is very delicious without it.
