Golden and tasty roasted garlic herb potato recipe

When I was little, I’d spend weekends at my grandma’s house, and those sleepovers were pure magic. She made the best roast chicken with potatoes, and I loved helping her peel them at the kitchen table.

The smell of garlic, herbs, and chicken roasting slowly in her old oven still lingers in my memory, even though the details of her face have started to fade.

She spoiled me every Sunday with that meal. There’d be warm bread on the side, a cozy kitchen full of chatter, and that comforting feeling only home-cooked food can bring.

Those moments shaped how I cook now, simple, nurturing dishes that feed both the body and the soul.

Sandra’s Note

Every time I make roasted potatoes, I think of my grandma; her kitchen, her laughter, and how she made everything feel special without even trying.

I can hardly remember the sound of her voice now, but her food lives in me like a heartbeat. These potatoes are my quiet way of remembering her, of keeping that warmth and love alive with every bite.
