Natural Homemade Beet Juice, Energy-Boosting Power Drink
When it comes to my favorite power beverages, homemade beet juice is always at the top of the list. Beets are not only beautiful and delicious, but they’re also incredibly nourishing for the body.
Believe it or not, during my first few years of blogging, I never really talked about how much I love beets. They’re surprisingly delicious, even raw, especially when paired with the right ingredients. Together, they create a powerhouse drink that truly supports your body.
There are days when I simply feel low on energy. I’m tired, sluggish, and not functioning the way I normally do. Usually, it only lasts a day or two, but during those times, I often turn to fresh juice. A glass of this vibrant beet juice can make such a difference in how I feel… my mood lifts, and my energy slowly comes back.

After sharing a few of my juicing and detox posts in the past, I received a mix of reactions. Some people were skeptical, while others shared wonderful feedback that truly made me smile. That’s the beauty of food and wellness: everyone finds what works best for them.
For me, adding fresh juice a few times a week has been a simple way to support my overall well-being. Juicing doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive, either. Even making it two or three times a week can be a great way to add more nutrients to your routine. Many people notice improvements in their energy, skin, and overall mood when they consistently include more fresh fruits and vegetables in their diet.
I personally prefer getting as many nutrients as possible directly from whole foods rather than relying only on supplements. While vitamins can certainly have their place, I love the idea of blending together real, fresh ingredients and letting nature do the work.
Or roasting. Like carrots are amazing fresh, cooking carrots can increase the bioavailability of certain nutrients, particularly beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is the antioxidant that the body converts into vitamin A, which supports eye health, immune function, and skin health.
When carrots are roasted, the heat helps release more beta-carotene from the vegetable’s structure, making it easier for your body to absorb.
Anyway, this is a post about beets, not carrots. So one of my favorite combinations is this beet juice with green apples, carrots, ginger, and lemon. The flavors balance each other perfectly, sweet, slightly earthy, bright, and refreshing.
Why Beets Are So Powerful
These lovely roots are packed with nutrients while being naturally low in calories. They’re rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support overall health.
Beets contain a powerful compound called betalain, the pigment that gives them their deep red color. Betalains offer strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may help support heart health, brain function, and overall wellness.
Beets can also help support healthy circulation and allow the body to deliver oxygen more efficiently. Because of this, many athletes include beet juice in their routines to support endurance and performance.
Thanks to their impressive nutrient profile, beets may also help the body manage everyday challenges like inflammation, fatigue, and immune support.
In this juice, I combine beets with a few other well-known ingredients:
- Carrots for natural sweetness and vitamin A
- Green apples for brightness and balance
- Fresh ginger for warmth and digestion support
- Lemon for freshness and vitamin C
Together they create a vibrant, refreshing juice that is 100% natural with no added sugar.
If you’ve never tried fresh beet juice before, I truly encourage you to give it a chance. Sometimes the simplest combinations of real ingredients can make the biggest difference in how we feel.

One dose which is about 5-6oz (6oz/ounces=177ml) is enough for a whole day, but to be on the safe side please ask your DR. If you are perfectly fine drinking this combination of ingredients.
If you are not used to drinking pure juices start with 2 FL Oz in the morning with a glass of water (not COLD water, preferably room temperature) and gradually over a period of two weeks lift it up to 5-6 FL Oz, just because it is extremely powerful and your body needs to adjust.
I recommend this juice, especially for cancer patients, and cancer survivors. Also, just to tell you if you do try this juice your stool will be slightly red/beet color, just in case if you were wondering!
This is 100% natural and you don’t have to worry about when you do see different colors, but I feel the need to inform you about that too.
