Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies are among a few that we love baking during the Holiday season. Not only that we enjoy munching on them but also giving them as enable gifts.

These are such incredible desserts, but also simple, versatile, and family-friendly.

I always make a double batch to add a bit of dried fruit for us that loves it, such as raisins or cranberries. Now that winter is here and the joyful holiday season, baking is one of the best activities in my opinion.

In collaboration with Clabber Girl® Baking Powder and Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening, I would like to show you guys how I use these products in my recipes.

I love partnering with brands that are not only a staple of my home but so many more. If you have not heard, Clabber Girl Baking Powder is the #1 brand of baking powder in America.

Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies

Well, since 1850, the brand has been known as an expert in baking ingredients and has been beloved by bakers for generations.

When it comes to Crisco, it has been an essential part of the kitchen and has helped improve the quality of your meals for over 100 years.

Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies

Crisco is a versatile ingredient that adapts to your cooking style. Both Clabber Girl® and Crisco® Shortening are brands that we can surely trust.

I used McCann’s® Quick & Easy Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal, which will give you a delicious bowl of oatmeal in just minutes.

However, you can most definitely use McCann’s® Quick Cooking Rolled Irish Oats. Either way, you will love it! McCann’s® goodness starts in the fertile fields of Ireland.

Cookies

No place on earth produces finer oats. McCann’s® Irish Oatmeal is named for the founder, John McCann.

In 1800, John built Beamond Mill in County Meath to grind the raw oats harvested on Ireland’s bountiful east coast.

May you find love, peace, and joy this holiday season. I hope you bake cookies and create memories with those that you love the most.

Cookies ‘n’ Cream Ice Cream

Cookies ‘n’ Cream Ice Cream

Cookies ‘n’ Cream Ice Cream is one of the most favorite ice creams by many and we wanted to make our own. It is an easy and very delicious recipe.

I have been on an ice-cream kick lately… to correct myself, on “homemade” ice-cream kick. It is just so easy to make your own, not cheap at all just to warn you guys, but you can definitely taste the difference between homemade and store-bought ice cream.

I don’t know how to explain, it tastes much richer and creamier, and I don’t even have to tell you that you know what you adding in your own ice cream so you can get whatever you would like in it.

Cookies 'n' Cream Ice Cream

We have made so many ice creams in the last few weeks, and we loved every one of the flavors, so I am sharing one by one.

Of course, you can make ice cream without an ice cream maker or machine but if you have a machine why would you make it without it.

I just don’t know why I waited so long to get one.

As I said, it’s not cheap but my family and I have been enjoying this homemade deliciousness very much.

I googled what is number one ice cream in the USA, and believe it or not, Cookies ‘n’ Cream popped as numero uno.

To tell you honestly, I was a bit shocked and totally expected something like the chocolate chip or even plain vanilla or chocolate, but nope, it is Cookies ‘n’ Cream.

Cookies 'n' Cream Ice Cream

I am planning to share many more homemade ice creams with you so stay tuned for berry ice cream, matcha, tropical ice cream, chocolate, and, of course, the chocolate chip that I just made last night and LOVEEEED it!!

I gotta tell ya, it was delightful. It is definitely creamy, but it got that bite from cookies although it is not overly sweet at all. I read recipes from instructions and so many calls for 2 cups of sugar.

YES!!! 2 cups! I find it a bit too sweet considering that we are adding cookies as well so I use only one cup of sugar for my base on this amount of liquid.
